The Price of Freedom

A society is both civilised and free when ethical priciples are observed by its members.
The highest form of ethics is that which comes from love.
Without ethics there is no true freedom and the material benefits of civilisation become pointless; in this case there is a regression to the state of a jungle ruled by violence and fear.
